On January 8, 2020, the 11th Best Design Hotel Awards and 10th Global Design Hotel Forum, was successfully held by the Bund at Shanghai Wanda Reigh Hotel. Over 200 guests from different fields, such as design, art, music, technology and business, along with professionals in hotel industry, media workers and KOL, gathered together to witness the announcement of the "Design Hotel of the Year" and other awards.

Guests from different fields were invited to share their opinions with the audience. Industry leaders with a forward-looking vision and aesthetic taste, had an in-depth discussion on the contemporary aesthetics of hotels, and the sustainable development and innovation of hotel brands.

The giveaways of the event, a Notebook gift set, were offered by a hotel supplier called WhatInspires. It is said that these notebooks were produced by “Industrial Tailings Recycling Project”. By recycling, cleaning, design and manufacture, WhatInspires made use of the surplus and discarded PU leather materials and made them into fashionable travel accessories, giving them new lives.

At present, this project has been cooperating with many fashionable hotels by offering them travel pouches, notebooks, luggage tags, fragrances and other products. About the “Best Design Hotel Awards”
